Jason is a former elementary parochial school classroom teacher. After 7 years in the classroom teaching 3rd graders through 8th graders, he finally landed at Bennington Public Schools as the Instructional Technologist for the district. In Bennington, he focuses on technology integration and best practices through staff development and communication. Major initiatives in the district currently include developing K-12 blended learning models with Moodle, Google Apps with Chromebooks, integration of Mimio Interactive products and software, and research towards development of a 1:1 program.
When Jason is not busy with projects at Bennington, he teaches technology integration courses online as an adjunct faculty member at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota and also leads regular live Quick Learn training sessions for Mimio at http://www.mimio.com/en-NA/Training/QuickLearn-Overview.aspx. His research interests include online and blended learning environments (especially as they apply in K-12) and the effect of technology integration on pedagogy.
